My little girl Nosette also has this periodic problem. I have noticed that when she has any more than 2-3 licks (just a lick, not even as much as a drop) of Ferretone, her poop can get a mucousy exterior which is sometimes green. I never notice this unless she has had ferretone a few hours earlier. My other ferrets are perfectly healthy and we have never had ECE. My thoughts are that she just doesn't tolerate Ferretone well.
