Sukie, Bebo had no reaction at all to the first Purevax that was given to him the year
after he reacted to the Fervac. The next year after about 10 to 15 minutes while we
were waiting at teh vets, he threw up some and my vet gave him a steriod shot and put
him in the incubator to keep him warm. He snapped right out of that one really
quickly. He had been pretreated with Benadryl as all of my fuzzies are but I don't know
if it even helped.

I can tell you for sure that the Benadryl had no effect when my Snoopy reacted to the
Purvax. It was so quick and so extreme that my vet was not able to save him. She
tried everything she could and even tried cardiac compressions. Snoopy was about 6
1/2 (approx because he was a rescue). He had received both distemper and rabies
vaccines for the previous 4 years with no problems whatsoever and had never been
sick with anything. He had never even shown a sign of adrenal issues.

Thank you for your help!!
