My vet, who is extremely ferret knowledgable, has a recipe for ferrets with ulcers. 1 can A/D, 2 tablespoons pumpkin (not the pie mix, just plain pumpkin), and 2 tablespoons half and half. Mix together, add water to make it thin, then warm in microwave. This is easy on the stomach and will also help add weight. I have 2 foster ferrets on this, 1 with ulcers, 1 with IBD. In a week they went from skin and bone to fat and sassy : )
