I have a bit of an issue with my 9 month old male ferret. Approx. 50% of the time he yawns he gags- it is very quick and brief. This just started about 2 days ago and I am really unsure as to what could have prompted this. He shows no other signs of illness (breathing is otherwise fine; no coughing out of the ordinary ect.). I gave him a laxative and that seems to have done nothing. He also receives ferretone daily. He appears to be eating and drinking normally. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
