Hi all,

Has anyone ever seen this? My 5 mo. old neutered ferret has developed small
(pin head size) orange colored flakes on his skin between his shoulder
blades. It is only on his shoulder blades, nowhere else on his body. It
looks like cradle cap for those who have had non fuzzy babies.

It doesn't appear to be itchy, is very minute and when bathed it comes off,
but returns in a day or two.

He acts fine, plays, eats, everything else is normal. I searched the
archives and only came up with someone looking to see if this was a sign of
hyperthyroidism (sp?) and she got no responses on list.

Sukie, this is the male I mentioned that had blood in his urine a month or
so ago and recovered with us never knowing what the cause was. He also has
neural crest whateveryoucall it. He's a blaze/panda and deaf.

Thanks,
Leslie
