I agree we need more info. Often time we use a number of differnt things
including a diuretic an Ace inhibitor which is what I think your kid is on.
I would try a lot of things before euthatnasia but know that at any time a
heart attack could occur and you could lose him. There are supplements that
can help too but you need to do something that will help him feel better so
that he will eat. I found that mine would no longer chew anything hard and
would eat if I fed him pureed food. He would lap it right up and when the
meds made him feel better he ate very well and put on weight. This was back
int he 80's before all the better treatments were available. I think there
are things that can be tried so push for them. Best to you.
