If you look through back posts by vets you will find comments that the rates they have seen have been lowest with Purevax.
Purevax often is not available, though.
This year our crew wound up getting Galaxy which is an alteration of a past CDV vax which had been approved for use in ferrets. Galaxy itself has not yet had approval for use in ferrets as a proven effective vaccine but I can't recall hearing of any ferrets who had that vax getting canine distemper. Our own experience with Galaxy has included fewer (but not by a wide margin) reactions than Fervac had.
