Mike makes a very valid point. Our Podo had no
history of vaccination reactions until he was eight.
He had an anaphylactic reaction to his rabies
vaccination at eight and nearly died. He *never* had
a reaction at all to his distemper vaccinations. I've
had other ferrets go five or six years and then have a
mild reaction.
BTW, after a mild reaction we pretreat with benadryl
but we still vaccinate.
