Farra's biopsy came back with a diagnosis of Spindle Cell carcinoma. The vet told me it was anaphalaxic and was either a Fibrocarcinoma or a lyomiocarcinoma (hope I am spelling these relitively close) He also said that Fybrocarcinomas cannot yet be cured in humans or animals so there are two options, chemotherapy, which will never cure it and maybe give her only a few months with great expense and putting her through alot, or take a wait and see attitude....if it grows back we can cut it out more aggresively...I belive he said it would be better if it was the lyomiocarcinoma, but I forgot why. This tumor grew from a 1cm to a 3cm in less than 3 weeks.

My questions are:

Has anyone else had a tumor of this sort?

Thanks, Lynn Barker
Is this the best approach (he likes the wait and see)
how long does she have? (is this a quick cancer) and what quality of life....what can I expect?
