The numbers/statistics definitely put me at ease about the vaccinations, and a big
thanks to everyone who posted. But since someone brought up that ferrets with
possible underlying illnesses may be at higher risk of reaction I want to ask this:

Boo-Boo is no longer on his ulcer meds, nor do his stools look black and tarry as
they did prior to treatment, but he's still grinding his teeth. Should I get his annuals
despite there possibly being a gastro problem still?

Also, a new developement with one of the younger two fuzzies: Peanut & Tocho
turn 1yr old tomorrow. This morning I noticed Peanut's tail----she's losing the hair
on her tail. I've noticed her tail looking 'funny' but didn't really think much about it
until this morning when I noticed it looks like it's getting bald.

Too early for her to have adrenal? I've read conflicting opinions on this, but I don't
know why else she would lose the hair on her tail. Either way, the vaccination... IF
she is in the early stages of adrenal, vaccinate... or not vaccinate? She also seems to
be losing some weight, but it's really hard to tell since she's been 'thin and wirey'
since we got her last fall. She's not boney, and if she's lost weight she's not lost
much. It's just one of those things were I 'think' she looks thinner, but not enough
to tell for sure.

I'm worried about the vaccinations now in respects to the other problems (Boo-Boo's
tummy problems and Peanut's recent hair loss).

Our vet is a good vet, but she's not that ferret knowledgeable, so I'd like to walk in
with some knowledge so I can talk to her intelligently about my concerns.
