Hello everyone,

I'm new here, Zenja is my name. I'm Dutch so plz forgive me if I make mistakes in English.
Currently I'm researching possible remedies for liver problems. Some of my internet-friends and my vet are also interested.
I read about beneficial effects of Milk Thistle (Sybilum Marianum) but one of the side-effects seems to be that this also lowers blood-sugar levels. Since both my ferrets are also diagnosed with insuloma it's important for me to know how large this effect might be. Who can tell me more?
In this connection I have some more questions:
-Are there any known interaction effects with proglycem?
-I laid hands on pure Milk Thistle (in capsules). What liquid is best to make a suspension out of it? Are there additives wich makes it work better? (read about phosphatidylcholine?)
-Does anyone have experience with Milk Thistle with HelicoBacter sensitive ferrets (maybe as a prevention) and how are the results?

kind regards,

Zenja
