Yes the most reactred to of the contagions is
ringworm in NH! Here they mandate animal ( cta/dog)
shelters screen for ringworm before placing animals
with families....
but no one seems concerned in this state with rabies
if they are vaccinated before adopting out-- nor with
any other opossible contagion. Speaking form my OWN
experiences with adopting a kitten a year ago-- she
was ill with a parasitic infestation which cost us
$1500.00 in the end-- but they did screen here for
ringworm before placing! ARRGH!
