So are there any suggestions as to what I should be asking my vet to check? I may be grasping at straws here.. but what if it is a misdiagnosis? Could a biopsy of the liver tell us more. I'm willing to spend my savings trying to save his life, I just don't want to jump the gun and do something stupid.
