According to Dr. Purcell's book, enalapril is a vasodilator used for
dilated cardiomyopathy. The recommended dosage is 0.25 to 0.5 mg/k q
24-48h PO. It is well tolerated. Monitor for weakness and anorexia. Use
with caution when renal disease is present.
