I live in Mobile (south AL) and have lived in south MS before this for about 10 years.
The heat is unbearable at times. During hurricane Ivan we had to keep the fuzzies on
ice, keeping bags of ice in cloth sacks or pillow cases for them to snuggle up to. We
also gave them frequent baths to wet them down.
I think it's too hot for them to be outside down here, personally.
