With ulcers and major inflamation he will still feel sick. Imagine you had =
a bad stomach virus. Your stomach doesn't like anything you put in it. You =
didn't say what treatment the vet is useing. Is he on I.V. fluids? Medicati=
on for ulcers? It might take awhile for the ulcers to settle and Oscar to r=
ecover. If the ulcers are his only problem causing the vomitting, I'd give =
it time. ( About 48hrs. to see results.) Once he can keep down even small a=
mounts, you should be able to care for him at home. He would need meds and =
frequent small feedings. Ferrets are usually less stressed at home. I would=
get his options, but as I said, If the problem is ulcers, it should be cur=
able. Sending good thoughts to you both. Olivia
