He is being treated for the ulcers, but he simply will not stop throwing up, the last I heard anyway which was yesterday afternoon. My vet says that if there is no change in Oscar by this afternoon that we will have to talk "options". Does anyone have any advice?? I'm so scared that I'm going to loose my little boy, and I want his suffering to stop. ~Mandi

do not give up yet, we have been going thur the same thing with our little shadow, she swallowed a motrin and got very sick with the same conditions as oscar. this is what our new vet did and it is working. he stopped feeding her oral food for two days and no oral meds, it was a combination of these that was causing shadow to vomit. all her meds were injected along with fluids. after two days he put her on carafate 30 mins before she ate. her diet is ad canned food warmed up, add some water to make it soupy a towel and a finger. it has worked.she went from 3 pds to 1pd 6ozs in 3 weeks. we almost did the unthinkable but oppt for the 2nd opinion. our little girl could not take all the meds and eat food that she needed to get better at the same time. she is gaining about 15 grams aday. i hope this helps it is worth the try good luck don
