Hi all

Fortunately it has been a long time since I have had to write in with a hea=
lth question. We have one remaining ferret. She is about 6 years old. Her=
name is Yen. She has been very healthy except for one small growth she ha=
d removed from her chest a year ago. She has not had any other trips to th=
e vet except for normal check ups and shots. We added a puppy to hour home=
in Nov. of last year. Unfortunately this puppy had to be put to sleep yes=
terday. She had a congenital kidney problem that caused her kidney=92s to =
fail suddenly. The two have been pretty much inseparable since we bought T=
essa (the puppy) home. My question is should we be on the look out for any=
thing special in our one remaining baby. She spent most of her waking time=
yesterday looking for her usual playmate. She didn=92t want to play with =
us at all she just wanted to search around the house. It was really awful =
to watch. Can depression cause anything we should be on the look out for? =
We are just so worried about her we want to make sure we do everything we c=
an to continue her good health.

Thanks for your ideas/opinions
~Jennifer
