No, Lupron does not work every time. If there's a functional tumor, that is, one that pumps out hormones regardless of any outside influence, Lupron won't help. Perhaps adding a melatonin implant to her treatment will help? Since she initially responded to Lupron, that might be worth a try. I wouldn't stop the Lupron, but add the melatonin to it.
Surgery is a better option, but if the surgeon doesn't get 100% of the tissue, it will regrow in 4-6 months.
If she's without adrenals or any functional adrenal tissue, she'll need pred, percorten or florinef, etc.
