I'm going tomorrow to pick up a couple of kits that the owner can't keep. Thing is, I was just talking to him on the phone and he says that the 3-month-old male is over 3 pounds already. Says he's sure about the age because he has the birth certificate--probably that thing MF gives the pet stores to fill out. Can the age possibly be right? He's already as heavy as any male I've ever had. I hadn't been worried about my crotchety, 7-year-old alpha dude because I thought kits would be kit sized (and socialized somewhat by the time they grew), but this baby might be bigger than he is! What do you all think, is this a baby? If so, how big is this kid gonna be?

BTW, Cookie, who had swollen eyes not too long ago, is on Trusopt (dorzolamide hydrochloride), which is supposed to be better than the older stuff someone mentioned in a post a couple of years ago. She started with 1 drop per day, but I think she does better on two. They've also got her on pred in case there's cancer behind the eye, but the drops had already started to help when my vet advised me to start the pred. (I'm considering dropping the pred but I guess I'm too cautious.) The sensitivity around her eyes is almost completely gone, and she no longer gets scary bloody ooze out of the more severe one. She was already deaf, now is blind, and gets around great on floor vibrations, whiskers, and smell--people can't tell she has a problem when they see her go, and she follows me around often.
