Breeder ferrets are usually much bigger than your average petstore kits. A
friend of mine had a 5 mon old kit that weighed almost 5 lbs and another friend
had one that weighed over 5 lbs at 5 mons.
Although I've never seen a kit weighing 3 lbs at 3 mons, I'm sure it can
happen. lol, no matter what size the kit is, it will be a force of nature
especially to your older ones :):)
