I would also look for a cause that is causeing the ulcers to flare up. With
the lethagy there seems to be more there then meets the eye. REMEMEBER that
x rays alone do not rule out obstruction, lethargy could be insulinoma,
lymphoma or other. Could also mean anemia secondary to loss or chronic
disease. Many possibilities. I often see ulcers along with fur balls but
usu they are losing weight. I have had obstuctions that even on barium look
like it is prob okay until I did a next day shot to see if everything had
moved thru. I have also found in some of these guys that the barium is a
great coating agent for the entire GI tract. Also could your little one
also have IBD. Just thoughts. I know the weight gain is different since
most cause loss but anything is possible and be sure it was all addressed.
