Impossible to say with out x rays or blood work or abdom palpation. At this
age it could be insulinoma (check a blood glucose), adrenal disease,
lymphoma, etc. If the vets can get a look at the ferret book it will give
some info. Also see info in archives or the website miamiferrets.org for
other possibilites and maybe some infor you can bring to the vets. I think
there is a vet listing there too. Good Luck.
