I wanted to let everyone know that it is a boy & we named him Loopy! I removed the second round of ticks with tweezers and swabbed the areas with alcohol. I wanted to let the DVM know that I live in Kent, OH. (That's N.E. Ohio)Unfortunalty, I don't have a digital camera to post a picture. I will say that I have been online for the last several days looking ticks up and can not find a picture of a tick that looks like these. I hope they're not some crazy new thing! For now, a lady at a local ferret shelter told me to try mineral oil to get rid of the ones already there, and of course to treat the bedding and surrounding area as well. I'm heading out to get those vitamins and some revolution. Loopy is doing much better. He's eating better and beginning to even be playful! Thanks so much for all of your help!
Christine
