I've also called the company and of course they rave about them. Is there any
thing else I should know about them? How is everyones past and present
experience w/ them?
Robin at the FerretsFirst shelter here in Northern Virginia has had
tremendous success with Ferretonin implants. I believe her success rate with having
adrenal alopecia nearly totally reversed in four months is almost 100%. She
injected my Baldy, a super-advanced adrenal case (photos in the May 2005 archive
at
baldytheferret.blogspot.com), and within a few weeks he was sprouting peach
fuzzy hairs (Baldy unfortunately passed on last week and had such an unusual
collection of symptoms, in addition to adrenal, that I'm going to post his
diagnosis here for folks to look at). A recent rescue that I'm fostering on
FerretsFirst's behalf, Waldo, is presenting initial stages of hair regrowth all over
his body after just a few weeks, too. Dr. XXXXX, our vet of choice for
VA/DC/MD area shelters, is now sold on Ferretonin after seeing it work in case
after case.

I have not observed any side effects but others may know a lot more about
that than I do.

I am not affiliated in any way with Melatek, the company that makes this
product. I have become one of their cheerleaders, however. :-)
