The may/june issue of Ferrets magazine talked about a rare (more often seen in cats)
autoimmune disease called IMHA which is treated with strong immunosuppresive
drugs and transfusions. Maybe you could look into this but you should know that the
transfusion could be fatal. We had a ferret die from this about a yr ago.
