Retinal degeneration is generally genetic so no was not an injury.
Detachment however could be an injury and has a better chance of being
repaired, but it is very expensive and not many ophthamologists are real
skilled in it. I know the leading guy is out here, in Illinois and has been
doing dogs and cats and some zoo animals. He was the one that did eye
surgery on Benji not long ago. I think you will need an exam by an
ophthamologist, these are things we general practitioners do not have good
enough equipment to diagnose as well. Tlak so your veT. It really depends
on how far you want to go and how much you can afford. Good luck and follow
