Hey Everyone:

We have a 3 yr old male, Ernie, that we took in as a surrender. He was raised on Purina Kitten Chow and hadn't been around any other ferrets. We made a big boo-boo and changed his food too quickly and introduced him to our rowdy bunch too soon. He stopped eating and started grinding his teeth. I knew we had stressed him out too much so off to the Dr. he went and was put on 2cc Amoxi-drops, 2cc Flaygl, and 1ml Pepto (twice a day). He's been on it for four days and is doing alittle better but he still won't eat his kibble (we gave him back his Kitten Chow and separated him from the others). The only thing he'll eat is Bob's Chicken Gravy.
He absolutley hates his meds and acts as if I'm trying to skin him. My question is: 1) Would Baxin and Amoxi be a better therapy. Does Baxin taste any better? 2) What is the expect recover time from this?

Any advise would be appriecated.

Thanks,
Lisa
