Remember that those changes are normal for this season, too, so you might have seen the opposite with some if we were beginning Winter. Coats always improve in the beginning of a season right after shed, and activity with related musculature increase in Summer. So, what you are seeing may or may not be related to the food.
Hearing that the feline version at least becomes a paste rather than chunks is good. I guess someone out there will try the same experiment with the canine form.
The FHL isn't Consumer Reports (in fact, even our rules say that we won't fill that type of role and that is OT) but it always helps to know things like which foods have chunks of vegetables and fruits that can cause blockages and which ones don't.
