If I am wrong please email me or post on here. I am always learning.

Sometimes even ferret people get things wrong. Please if you are going to
feed kibble don't feed Canine. There is Feline EVO out now and it is
better ratio than the canine.

All of them, feline and canine EVO, and regular Innova for cats, have
taurine in them. You can also get taurine supplements.

Please switch from EVO to regular adult feline innova. Your ferrets do not
need to eat over 40% protein from kibble. Our ferrets have regular Innova
(red bag) mixed in small proportions with mainly Totally Ferret. We switch
foods a lot to insure that they are flexible. They do not get stomach
upsets or diarrhea when switched from Totally Ferret/Innova mix to
Mazuri/Innova mix, nor do they get diarrhea when switched to raw
occaisionally. Only when they overeat raw :)

The benefits of raw, ONLY COME IN when you actually FEED raw. You cannot
put the benefits of raw meat into kibble, plain and simple. That is why
Innova EVO is NOT a subsitute; if it is a sub, then why are there veggies
in it at all? BECAUSE you can ONLY have kibble with plants. Kibble is made
by boiling which removes many nutrients. We are going to switch to a
kibble supplemented raw diet, but only with time and a lot of effort can
you do raw; it is not for someone who doesn't want to make sure their
ferrets are getting exact ratios; if you just feed meat, you will not do
them any good. They need supplements, bones, and meat to have a balanced
diet. And don't forget organs. It all has to be varied, and all has to be
carefully in check. EVO is not a subsitute and is not even CLOSE.

Innova Adult Feline is acceptable but EVO is not. Feed EVO as a treat. It
is too high in protein. And yes, as others have said, unless there are
printed ratios on the bag, and you can see it, the canine most likely does
not have anywhere near the meat content that the feline does.

Again, if I am wrong please email me or post on here. I am always learning.
