They are the same dosage as in adult male mink. It is the exact same
implant, except it's now being marketed for ferrets as well under the name
Ferretonin (something new :) ) The implants are in silicone shells, which
do not dissolve. The price for individual packets is going up this month.
The recommended 'preventative' dose *for ferrets without any disease* has
been changed from every 4 months to every 6 months. The old price was
about $15 per implant but now I have no idea what the price will be.
In other words, same dosage as male adult minks. Except now they realized
that pet owners of ferrets want it too :)
