I have had several blind ferrets and they have done quite well. Two of the=
m came to me already blind (one was actually lost outside for 3 days and su=
rvived). They have been able to find their way all around the house with n=
o aids of any sort. I am careful, when I pick one up, that I put him/her b=
ack down in the same place. If I walk around and set them down in a differ=
ent place, it takes them a second to get their bearings. =

I have a third who I think has become very vision impaired since he arrived=
here. He does just fine also.

I'm sorry your ferret has become blind but want to reassure you that it won=
't impair her quality of life in any way.
