After reading this post I'm thinking our Boo-Boo didn't get the right treatment for his
ulcers. They treated him with amoxi for 10 days, and that was it. When he seemed no
better we called and they said to wait, but he was no better after a week, so we called
again, and they repeated the same 10 day amoxi treatment.

Could this be the reason he never fully recovered and is relapsing somewhat now?

The meds you are giving now are supposed to be given for 6 weeks, I
believe. The second therapy only 2 weeks. Biaixin is generally better
tolerated. Depending on how bad the ulcers are, it could take a while
to recover.
