The amino acids that cause problems for those particular ferrets who are susceptible to getting cystine stones are still the exact same amino acids no matter what the source: raw, cooked, etc.

When a ferret does have that vulnerability then the diet needs to be adjusted to bring down the protein levels to reduce the levels of those four amino acids. It really doesn't matter if the amino acids come from raw or cooked food.

Whether certain ingredients might exacerbate the problem for vulnerable ferrets in relation to cystine stones is still very much an unknown.
