Subject: Bile acids test with ferrets?

My vet and I are curious as to if bile acids tests are ever done on ferrets, and if such a test could help with my ferret who is showing signs of liver disease (elevated liver enzymes, elevated bilirubin, jaundice, bilirubin in urine...see my previous post on bilirubin in urine for complete blood values if interested)
