Lucy my ferret has losts alot of weight and I was told that she might have a parasite. I took her to the vet and they told me that she might not have a parasite. So they gave me TRIBISSEN ORAL SUSP 60. medication. Is it good for her? I looked in the net and this medication was used more for all types of birds and fish. Any way I started giving her the medication for 3 days straight already. Once in the morning and once in the evening. Ever since she has been bleeding through the stool. I even lowered the doseage to once a day. No change. What should I do? My doctor says it's nothing but she is not very good with ferrets. She relys on a medical ferret book. And there is no other ferret doctor in my area. I live in Newark, New Jersey. If there is some doctors with exact knowledge of ferrets please let me know. Also I want to know if I should still give this medication to Lucy. Please e-mail me as soon as possible. Thanx!
