Subject: how much do you feed a sick ferret?

I was wondering if someone could help me fiqure out
how much duck soup to feed my ferret Ellie. I feed
her TF soaked in water mixed with turkey babyfood.
She is fat and continues to gain. she weights 2.2lbs
and eats willingly when I feed her at 7:30am, 4pm, and
again at 7:30pm. I feed her at those hours cause I am
at work and she is taking pred and I want to give it
to her with food. She will not eat or dring with out
me giving it to her. She takes .2 of pred daily for
some breathing issue that nobody can diagnose. Today
her energy is way down. She is worse today than she
has been. We are loosing her. She poops well and
pees well. I need information on averages. She
pooped four good poops in 12 hrs and is peein so I
know he fluids are good. The weather her has been
very hot and humid so we put the air on. Sorry to
ramble on, but you all understand how frustrating it
is to not have answers and to not be able to help you
fuzzy baby,
I know there is an answer to Ellie's health problem,
but I also know I may not find it. She is old and has
had a wonderful life and although we are not willing
to let her go without a fight, she is the boss and we
are watching her very closely. Today is the first day
she did not play. When she stops wanting to eat I am
going to freak!
