Sukie, when you say pathology what specifically do you mean? Unfortunately I have both live and deceased ferrets. Ash just died this afternoon.

The pools of ick coming from the critters are dark, but there is certainly a component of bright red blood to the mix. HUGE amounts of ick come each time. Right now only girls are sick (the 3 boys have died), so not sure how much is urine - we just see a dark pool that when smeared, is quite red. Some poops have black tar as well (a gooey ick). All are having quite the difficult time eating anything at all...feedings take forever and it's mighty slow going. Volume is certainly not anywhere it should be.

Please be specific in the tests we need to run. And since I"m not sure how long such testing would take...what do we do in the meantime?
