Hi again,
Thanks to everyone who wrote back regarding Nike's illness. His vomit no longer has blood in it but he's still violently throwing up whenever he tris to eat. I took him into the vet today and they found a large internal mass on his left side. We're going back in on Friday to see if anything has changed, but the outlook does not look good. The vet is thinking it's cancer of some sort. Is there a way for a definite prognosis to be made, a blood test or something? I don't want Nike to suffer but I don't want to give up on him and let them put him to sleep if something else could be done. My mum isn't very optimistic because of Nike's age (8years) but I'm trying to remain hopeful. Thanks again to everyone who responded.
