Make sure that it is not raw milk since goats sometimes have bTB (Bovine Tuberculosis) and ferrets can catch it that way. When that happens the affected ferrets have to be destroyed, both because of the way the disease affects ferrets and because it is a fatal epizooic. Be sure that it has been pasteurized or even cook it yourself. If you cook it yourself I do not know what temperatures or length of time are needed, but suspect that you can find it in places like perhaps the sites of the CDC, FDA, or USDA.
