I weigh my ferrets to determine weight loss/gain. It's easier for me to
monitor any change. If there is a change, I have the exact info for my vet.
I weigh all of them weekly, and ones with health problems daily, and write
the info on my calendar. I use a digital fish weighing scale. Place ferret
in plastic bag with handles, hang on scale. Best to do when they are not in
crazy mode, hard to get an accurate reading on a bouncing bag.
