This is the final diet I have been considering:
Chicken, Chicken Meal, Ground Rice, Chicken Fat (preserved with Mixed Tocopherols, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin E, Beta Carotene and Rosemary), Chicken Digest, Raisin Juice, Banana Puree, Fish Oil, Garlic Oil, Taurine, Dried Whole Egg, Dicalcium Phosphate, DL-Methionine, Potassium Chloride, Choline Chloride, Vitamin E Supplement, Zinc Oxide, Vitamin A Acetate, Dehydrated Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Fermentation Product, Cranberry Powder, Dehydrated Casei Fermantation Product, Copper Sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, Manganous Oxide, Zinc Proteinate, Manganese Proteinate, Copper Proteinate, Iron Proteinate, Calcium Pantothenate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Niacin, Riboflavin Supplement, Inositol, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Potassium Iodide, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Folic Acid, Sodium Selenite, Cobalt Carbonate.
Guaranteed Analysis: Protein, not less than 45.0 %
Fat, not less than 16.0 %
Fiber, not more than 3.0 %
Moisture, not more than 10.0 %
Ash, not more than 6.5 %
Magnesium, not more than 0.95 %
Is 16% fat too low for any diet, let alone what that claims to have 45% protein that is "derived from real chicken and eggs" as the bag of the food says. Is 45% protein and 16% fat acceptable for a ferret diet?
