Leann,

How about upping his Prednisone dose? We had a little guy who got 10mg, yes
10, a day for over a year and did really well. We just kept upping Oscar's
Pred until his symptoms went away. We crushed a 5mg pill really fine in a pill
crusher from the drugstore, and put it in his Bob Church's. He'd eat it right
down. His BG never got above the 50's but he did great and eventually passed
from his heart problem not the insulinoma. He also had 3rd degree AV heart
block. And, like your little one, Oscar had adrenal problems too. He had had
his left out, we were going for another adrenal and pancreas surgery, when we
found the heart problem so surgery was out of the question. We had to deal
with all medically. We also fed him every four hours. He was happy right up
until he just instantly passed. Incredibly, you wouldn't have known anything was
wrong with him.

The very best of luck to you and your little guy. Keep us posted.
