My Chaos has this as well. The vet says it is a masscell tumor and that if
it grows any we can remove it but for now it is not hurting her. She will
every once in awhile scrach at it and make it bleed. When this happens we
take her up to the bath tub and make her swim for 10 minutes. This remove
the dryed skin and blood and stops her from scrathing for a week or so. We
also were told by the vet that aloe vera (100% purr from a plant) rubbed
into it everyother day would help stop her fom making it bleed.

I found a wart (tumor) on my ferrets leg yesterday. I was told it is not
necessary to remove. It has some dried blood on it. When i try to wipe it
of - she get irritated. I dont want to make the situation worse for her.
How can i do this carefully? Also is there anything I can do to cover the
area - any medication I can put on it?
