Subject: Side effects of Meds? - HELP!

My little guy was diagnosed with insulinoma 6 weeks ago. He has been doing=
very well with absolutely no return of symptoms on Pred. and change to hig=
her protein diet. I have been considering surgery, but he has been doing s=
o well. Last night, however, he threw up after eating and seemed seemed q=
uite nauseus with labored breathing and very uncomfortable. He cried out w=
hen trying to poop and His stool was very narrow and dark. I was up all ni=
ght with him and he seemed not at all well. This morning he was better but=
his stool is still tary and thin and after eating tonight he threw up agai=
n. I am afraid he may have an intestinal blockage? I know pred. can cause=
ulcers would this be a sign of that? I have also noticed his stomach has =
become more enlarged/bloated over the last few weeks and he has what I woul=
d call an acid reflux responce after eating. Because he has been acting li=
ke his old self otherwise I thought this was just a side effect but now I a=
m very concerned. I have a call into his vet, but I would like some advise=
. Could I be dealing with a blockage - Ulcer - or is this a side effect of=
Pred. =
