Hi all,
Well, Bianca is doing much better. I have her on prednisone (pediapred) and
lixatonic(?) vitamins. She hates the vitamins and bearly tolerates the taste of
the prednisone. She is getting small amounts of Ferretvite 3-4 times per day.
I have noticed she is much more active. (good)
BUT!!! Since she has been on the pred, I noticed that the left gland above
her should has gotten very hard and the one in the armpit is getting that way.
What is causing this? Should they be removed.
I pointed this out to my vet and he put her on amoxicillin. They have gotten
harder since then. They seem to almost have sharp edges. I do not think he
really knows what is going on. Any ideas?
