CB is estimated to be about 5 years old. In March of 2005 he underwent surgery as he had all the indications of adrenal disease. There was nothing other than nice healthy glands. Since then his fur has not grown back, his tail is bald, fur is brittle and skin dry. Not his generally soft fluffy self at all.
I realize that since the surgery in March something may have developed but am not sure that I should put him through this again when there is a possibly there is nothing wrong.
Would Melaton implants be helpful for him? I don't really care about how he looks (as he's totally beautiful in my eyes) but I am concerned. I don't want to put him through an unnecessary surgery for the 2nd time in less then 3 months but also don't want to ignore this.
Thanks for your help!
