Hello Suzanne-

as a ferret shelterer , not a vet, I will tell you that we HAVE taken in
transfers from cat & dog shelters who came in with URI's from reported
feline holding areas they inhabited.

The ferrets did respond with daily treatments of amoxycillin for the most
part. In a few cases we did have to go to baytril oral dosing.
