Oh, SIX years old. Sorry, that word fell into the domain of my still-blurry eye and I saw "8". Any of the problems I mentioned could happen at 6 and certainly you'd still do presurgical testing, but it is a lot easier to operate on a 6 year old than an 8 year old (though we have had one over 8 have successful surgery, and so have several other list members).
