I came into this group late, so I don't know if you've discussed the
possibility of having Insulinoma. My ferret, Malcolm, had the same
symptoms. The vet also gave him steroid shots and he then seemed to be a
lot better for the next few days. Then he would go back to being wobbly
like his hind legs did not want to go in the same direction as he did.
The original vet said it was most likely a brain tumor. I called someone
else who knows ferrets very well and this person said it sounds like
Insulinoma and recommended a vet. I then went to see this vet and she
was right it was Insulinoma. Has the vet considered Insulinoma?
